Make sure that the sealing faces of the
JRG fitting are clean and undamaged. If
this is not the case, replace the fitting.
Insert the supplied backflow preventer core
with mounted O-ring facing the JRG connection
flange into the centre hole of the connection
flange until it engages.
Check the correct installation of the
backflow preventer core by pulling
at it gently.
If installed correctly, it can only be
removed by force and gets damaged in
the attempt.
