2. Important information for your safety
The Concept R sauna heater is constructed in accordance with rec-
ognised safety rules and regulations. However, hazards can occur
during use. Therefore, adhere to the following safety information
and the specifi c warning notes in the individual chapters.
2.1. Use as intended
The Concept R sauna heater is intended solely for heating sauna
cabins, in conjunction with a control device which does not include
remote start and preset time functions.
The Concept R sauna heater may only be operated with a control
device that includes remote start or preset time functions in con-
junction with the optional safety shutdown feature (CP-R-SWL).
The Concept R sauna heater may also be used in public saunas
only in combination with the optional safety shut-off (CP-R-SWL).
Any use exceeding this scope is not considered as intended. Use
that is not considered as intended can lead to damage to the product,
to severe injuries or death.
2.2. Safety information for the installation engineer
● Installing and connecting the sauna heater may only be performed
when the power supply is disconnected.
● Installation may only be performed by a qualifi ed electrician or
similarly qualifi ed person.
● A three pole cut-out device with a 3 mm contact opening must
be present in the installation. This is provided by the fuse.
● Always use silicone cables that are heat-resistant up to 150 °C
to connect the heater.
