Now take child out of the car seat. Make sure, that the arms
are not under the shoulder straps.

MAINTENANCE ADVICE

WARNING! TOXIC CLEANING FLUIDS CAN CAUSE ILL-
NESS. NEVER USE BLEACH, DO NOT IRON, DO NOT
MACHINE WASH, DO NOT TUMBLE DRY AS THIS COULD
DAMAGE THE COVER AND REQUIRE REPLACING.
The GUARDFIX cover is removable and can be hand washed
at 30°c. In case of light staining you can clean this area with
warm soapy water.

REMOVING THE COVER

Firstly remove the cover from around the headrest section of
the car seat. To do this simply pull the cover from the top of
the headrest and slowly go around the headrest while remo-
ving. Then remove the cover from the base of the headrest.
Then pull the harness straps through the cover. Next release
the cover from around the edges of the GUARDFIX by relea-
sing the elasticated straps at the front edge of the car seat.
Remove the harness shoulder straps and connectors from
the harness pads.
Next remove the buckle pad from the buckle, than pull the
buckle and crotch strap through the cover.
Then pull the elasticated part of the cover from around the
central adjuster and remove the cover from the car seat.
To refit the cover and accessories, simply reverse this pro-
cess, however ensure the harness and buckle is in the correct
position and not twisted.
