DC power cooling module overview
An ME5 Series storage system receives its power from two power cooling modules
(PCMs). Each PCM contains two cooling fans.
NOTE: The fans that keep the storage enclosure cool are integrated into the PCM
and cannot be replaced separately. If a fan fails, you must replace the entire PCM.
DC power cooling module back panel features
The following figure shows the back view of a DC power cooling module.

Description
Contains LEDs that indicate the PCM status. (See DC
power cooling module indicators.)
Controls the PCM power output to the storage array.
Protects the PCM power terminal block.
Provides grounding for the PCM. This terminal must
be connected to the building's protective safety earth
ground.
Unlocks the PCM for removal from the storage enclosure.
