6. To Use

1. Press the On/Off Button.
2. Sit 5.9 - 13.8 in (between 15 cm and 35 cm) from the lamp. You can go about your normal activities
during use, such as reading, writing, using your phone, etc.
3. Usage duration depends on the distance; the closer you are to the light, the less time you should use it.

4. Periodically look directly into the light very briefly. Do not stare directly at the light, however, since that
could overstimulate the retina.
5. For more effective results use for at least seven consecutive days between 6 AM and 8 PM for two
hours per day.
6. Start with shorter periods of usage and increase over the course of a week.
NOTE: Eye aches and mild headaches may occur for the first few uses and will subside after continued
usage.
7. Press the On/Off Button to shut the unit off. Unplug the AC Power Adapter from the electrical outlet.
CAUTION
The light remains hot after use. Let the lamp cool before storing.

7. Care, storage and disposal

• Before cleaning the unit, always switch it off, unplug it, and let it cool.
• Do not immerse unit in water or other liquids. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use
abrasive detergents.
• Do not touch the unit with wet hands while it is plugged in; do not allow any water to be sprayed onto the
unit. The unit must be operated only when it is completely dry.
• If you are not going to use the device for an extended period of time, disconnect it and store it in a dry
place, out of the reach of children.
Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations.
