Circuit breaker (9)
• The circuit breaker will automatically switch OFF if
there is a short circuit or a significant overload at the
receptacles.
• If the circuit breaker is switched OFF automatically,
check that the appliance is working properly and does
not exceed the rated load capacity of the circuit before
switching the circuit breaker ON again.
• The circuit breaker may be used to switch the
generator power ON or OFF.
Earth terminal (10)
• The generator ground terminal is connected to the frame of the generator, the metal non-
current-carrying parts of the generator, and the ground terminals of each receptacle.
• WARNING! Failure to properly ground the generator can result in electrocution.
• Ground the generator by connecting a suibable grounding wire to the earth terminal.
Oil level alert system
• The oil level alert system is used to prevent engine from damage due to insufficient oil level.
Before the oil level can fall below a safe limit, the oil level alert system will automatically
shut down the generator (without switching the engine power switch to OFF position).
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
The gasoline generators are intended to provide electrical appliances with 230V ~50Hz
electrical sources. They are designed for private domestic use only, not for artisanal,
commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
WARNING! Overloading the generator is dangerous and could cause serious damage.
5.2- Pre-operation check
WARNING!
Before operating the generator, always position the generator on a flat firm surface wth
the engine switches OFF.
Engine oil level
Engine oil affects engine performance and service life. Check
the engine oil level and top it up:
• IMPORTANT! The generator may not contain enough
engine oil. Fill with recommended oil before the first use.
• Wear protective gloves to avoid spillage on skin.
• Remove the oil filler cap (12).
• Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth.
• Insert the dipstick back without screwing it, then remove it
again and check the oil level.
• If the oil level is low, top up with the recommenced oil (refer to Table 1).
• Restore the oil filler cap.
