PURPOSE OF THIS MANUAL
The purpose of this manual is to provide necessary information for product
installation, operation and maintenance.
CAUTION: Read this manual carefully before installing, using
or servicing this product. Failure to follow the instructions within
this manual could result in explosion, property damage, severe
personal injury and/or death.
WARNING: Do not install product if damaged. Damaged
product could result in water intrusion, flooding, electrical shock,
fire, property damage, severe personal injury and/or death.
TO CHANGE MOTOR CARTRIDGE
Block off the thru-hull before removing the motor cartridge.
•
Turn off power to the pump then disconnect wiring to cartridge.
•
Press cartridge button, twist counterclockwise and pull motor cartridge
•
straight up.
Reconnect wire to new motor cartridge.
•
Align the arrows and press the new motor cartridge down firmly. Twist motor
•
housing clockwise until cartridge locks in place. A "click" should be heard
when the cartridge is locked.
WARNING. The operator of the vessel should ensure the
motor cartridge is in the fully locked position at all times
when the vessel is in the water. Failure to place the motor
cartridge in the fully locked position could result in water
intrusion, flooding, property damage, severe personal injury and/or death.
