Step 3: Setting humidity and temperature
The remote control allows you to set the temperature from 4 - 18°C
(default setting 12°C) and humidity from 20 - 80% (default setting
60%).
EuroCave recommends setting the temperature from 8 - 18°C, and
humidity from 60 - 75%.

Please note, to operate correctly, the external unit of your
conditioner must be placed in a room with a temperature
of -8°C - 35°C.

The speed set by default is 12. It is possible to increase or decrease
the speed in order to most effectively adjust the internal temperature
and to adjust the noise level.
The value of the speed corresponds to operation of the appliance
blowing freely upwards or downwards. The layout of the wine
storage area or cellar in which the appliance is installed may limit its
air output owing to loss of pressure. In this case, it is necessary to
increase the speed with the remote control. To optimise output, read
step "optimising fan speed"
Optimising fan speed
Depending on the layout of the cellar, it is more accurate to adjust
the air output (speed) of the fan using an anemometer.
You will find the air output value in the "technical data" chart of your
appliance's installation technical data sheet.
You can also adjust the air output when the temperature of the cellar
is close to the setting, by measuring the evaporation temperature
using a manifold.
The appliances are generally designed to have an evaporation
temperature close to 0°C when the ambient temperature is 12°C.
– If the evaporation temperature is too low, increase the fan speed;
– If the evaporation temperature is too high, reduce the speed.
As variations are not instantaneous, allow the system to stabilise
between two settings.
It may take several hours for your cellar to stabilise and display the
desired temperature.
