3.5 Hazard areas

A hazard area is created around the machine during operation. Persons must not be present in the hazard area of operating vehicles. The hazard
area of 5 metres is the area around the operating vehicle in which persons can be reached by work-related movements of the machine, its
working equipment and attachments or by loads swinging out, loads falling or working equipment falling down. The machine operator may only
carry out work with the operating vehicle if there are no persons in the hazard area. The machine operator must give warning signs if there is a
danger to persons.
