3. Operational safety

• Stop and secure the carrier vehicle before carrying out any maintenance or adjustment work

3.2 Hazards from damage to the packing system

Damage to the packing system can affect its operational safety and cause accidents with physical injury. The following device components are

• Safety devices
• Connecting devices
In cases of doubt about the operational safety of the packing system, for example in the event of visible damage:
• Stop and secure the carrier vehicle.
• Immediately eliminate possible causes of damage, e.g. remove coarse soiling or tighten loose screws.
• Determine the cause of damage according to these operating instructions.
• Repair the damage as described in these operating instructions.
• In the event of damage that cannot be repaired by the user in accordance with these operating instructions:
• Have damage repaired by a qualified specialist workshop.

3.3 Safety and protective devices

The following safety and protective devices are installed on the packing system:
Before using the packing system, check that all screwed and
riveted joints are tight. Otherwise safety is not guaranteed!
