A) ADJUSTING THE CARRIER SYSTEM
WITHOUT CHILD
VIDEO
Before the first trip we recommend that you adjust the
back system without the child in the carrier. For best
wearing comfort the carrier's back length can be con-
tinuously adjusted. To adjust the length of the back cor-
rectly, please proceed as follows:
ADJUSTING THE LENGTH OF THE BACK
Release the clamp buckle of the shoulder strap attach-
ment (10). To shorten the back length, press the shoul-
der strap attachment down. To lengthen the back
length pull the shoulder strap attachment up. You must
18
lock the clamp buckle again afterwards (A1). Ideally,
the shoulder strap attachment should be between the
shoulder blades, so that the shoulder pads lie accurate-
ly on top of the shoulders (A2).
ADJUSTING THE CARRIER SYSTEM
Undo the hip strap (11), the load positioning straps (7)
and shoulder straps (6). Put the carrier on your shoul-
ders. Close the hip strap and pull it tight. The hip strap
should be positioned on the top of the pelvis. Pull the
shoulder straps tight and close the chest strap. Now
you tighten the load positioning strap. The carrier will
lift off the shoulder area at the back and thus be less of
a load (A3). It is important that the back length is ad-
justed properly beforehand. If you don't find the right
length straight away, repeat the process until you do.
PLEASE NOTE:
The child carrier is designed for one person to adjust it,
put the child in it and put the carrier on their back. In-
experienced users should get help from another person
when adjusting the carrier and putting it on their back.

B) ADJUSTING SEAT HEIGHT AND
STRAPPING THE CHILD IN
VIDEO
Please be careful when adjusting straps and seat
height. Before your first trip make sure that your child
sits securely and comfortably in the carrier and that all
buckles are done up properly. Make sure that the carrier
stands securely when you put the child down.
PREPARING THE CARRIER
First fold out the support base until it locks into place (B1).
Put the carrier on the floor facing you. Put the carrier on
the floor facing you. Loosen the side straps (3), the tor-
so strap (13) (only Shuttle Premium) and both straps of
the child safety strap evenly (1). You adjust the length of
the child safety strap using the slide buckle in the front
pocket (B2). Open the side strap, the torso strap (only
Shuttle Premium) and then the child safety strap.
ADJUSTING SEAT HEIGHT AND PUTTING
THE CHILD INTO THE CARRIER
Once you have prepared the carried and locked it into
position you adjust the height of the seat using the
height adjustment mechanism (9). It's a good idea to
first use your visual judgment to adjust the height.
To raise the seat (for a smaller child), loosen the bot-
tom slide buckle (B3), and tighten the upper glide
buckle until you reach the desired height. Then you
tighten the bottom slide buckle. To lower the seat (for
a bigger child), do the same in reverse order.
As a basic principle: never adjust the height of the seat
when the child is in the carrier. The height of the seat
is right when the child can moved its arms freely and
can look around.
