EMPTYING THE COLLECTION TANK
At the end of the work, and before carrying out any type of maintenance, perform the following
operations:
1. Take the appliance to where its collection tank is emptied.
N.B: the place designated for this operation must comply with current environmental protection
regulations.
CAUTION: These operations must be carried out using gloves to protect the hands.
2. Switch off the appliance by setting the main switch (1) to "0" (Fig.1).
3. Remove the plug (2) on the power cable (3) from the mains power supply socket (4) (Fig.2).
WARNING: To prevent damaging the power cable, disconnect the plug from the mains socket
by directly pulling the plug and not the cable.
4. Remove the vacuum head (5) using the handle on top of it, before removing the head loosen the
locking catches (6) on the side of the collection tank (7) (Fig.3) and lay it on the ground.
5. For the WDM versions use the control handlebars (8) and the tank handles (9) for upturning the
appliance (Fig.4).

6. For the WDB versions use the handle (10), on the front of the tank, to upturn the tank (Fig.5).
CAUTION: When overturning the collection tank, hold the appliance using the handlebars (11).
7. Empty the collection tank.
N.B. : If there is a cloth filter, remove it from inside the collection tank before emptying the
appliance.
N.B. : If present, remove the filter - collection bag from inside the collection tank, being
careful not to rip it. If the bag is made of paper, dispose of it properly, but if it is made of
fabric just empty it.
N.B. : If there is the rapid emptying kit, proceed as follows:
•
Remove the discharge hose (12) from the catch of the collection tank (Fig.6).
•
Unscrew the cap (13) and place the hose on the discharge surface and gradually release
the hose (Fig.7).
8. Refit all the parts.

AT THE END OF THE WORK
At the end of the work, and before carrying out any type of maintenance, perform the following
operations:
1. Take the appliance to the place where it is maintained and carry out all the procedures listed in the
chapter " MAINTENANCE".
2. Take the appliance to the designated machine storage place.
3. Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see
ATTENTION: Park the appliance in an enclosed place, on a flat surface; near the appliance
there must be no objects that could either damage it, or be damaged through contact with it.
MAINTENANCE
Properly cleaning the vacuum unit makes sure the appliance works efficiently and effectively when
operating, to carry out maintenance do as follows:
1. Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see

3. If present, remove the foam filter (4) (Fig.2) and clean it, also clean the mechanical float (5) with a
damp cloth (Fig.3). When dry, fit the foam filter again.
N.B. : If the surface of the filter is extremely dirty, brush the filter with a normal soft brush to
clean it thoroughly, and if necessary wash it in water.
ATTENTION: Check the condition of the foam filter if the filter surface area is particularly
clogged or if it is damaged replace it.

4. If present, remove the cloth filter (6) (Fig.4) and clean it. When it is dry put back the cloth filter.
5. Clean the inside of the collection tank with a damp cloth.
6. Put back the vacuum head (1) on top of the collection tank (3), remembering to secure it with the

hook catches (2).
7. Disconnect the vacuum hose (7) from the vacuum nozzle (8) on the collection tank, before pulling
the vacuum hose press the release button (9) (Fig.5).

8. Clean the inside of the vacuum hose with a jet of compressed air, if necessary removing any
obstructions.

9. Disconnect the cleaning accessory.
10. Clean the inside of the vacuum chamber of the accessory with compressed air, and if necessary

remove any obstructions.

To dispose of the appliance, take it to a demolition centre or an
authorised collection centre.
Before scrapping the appliance, it is necessary to remove and
separate out the following materials, then send them to the
appropriate collection centres in accordance with applicable

SOLUTION
Press the main switch.
Connect the plug on the appliance's
power cable to the mains socket.
Check that the technical data on the
appliance's serial number plate match
the data of the mains supply.
Contact a specialised technician
immediately.
Connect the vacuum hose correctly to
the nozzle on the collection tank.
Connect the vacuum hose correctly to
the extension hose.
Connect the extension tube correctly
to the vacuum accessory being used.
Remove

obstruction
