Noise/Vibration Information
Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the product are:
Noise emission values determined according to EN IEC 62841-4-3:2021+A11:2021
– Sound pressure level
– Uncertainty K
– Sound power level
Vibration total values ah (triax vector sum) and uncertainty K determined according to EN IEC 62841-4-3:2021+A11:2021
– Vibration emission value a
h
– Uncertainty K
That the declared vibration total value(s) have been meas-
ured in accordance with a standard test method and may be
used for comparing one machine with another.
That the declared vibration total value(s) may also be used in
a preliminary assessment of exposure.
That the vibration and noise emissions during actual use of
the machine can differ from the declared total value depend-
ing on the ways in which the machine is used; and of the
need to identify safety measures to protect the operator that
are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual condi-
tions of use (taking account of all parts of the operating cycle
such as the times when the machine is switched off and
when it is running idle in addition to the trigger time).
Rechargeable batteries
Bosch sells some cordless power tools without a re-
chargeable battery. You can tell whether a rechargeable bat-
tery is included with the power tool by looking at the pack-
aging.
Charging the batteries
Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only
u
these chargers are matched to the lithium-ion battery of
your power tool.
Note: Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are supplied par-
tially charged according to international transport regula-
tions. To ensure full rechargeable battery capacity, fully
charge the rechargeable batteries before using your tool for
the first time.
Inserting Batteries
This machine is designed to only run with 2 batteries
u
and will also not function if one of the batteries is
completely discharged. Always use batteries with the
same charge level and never combine full and part-
charged batteries as the run time will always be dic-
tated by the least charged battery.
Note: Using unsuitable batteries can lead to malfunctions or
damage the machine.
Insert the charged batteries. Ensure that the batteries are
fully inserted.

Push the charged batteries into the battery port until they
are locked in place.
Removing the Batteries
The batteries have 2 locking levels to prevent them from fall-
ing out if the battery release button is pushed unintention-
ally. As long as the batteries are inserted in the power tool,
they are held in position by means of a spring.
To remove the batteries press the battery release button and
pull out the batteries. Do not use force to do this.
Battery charge indicator
The green LEDs on the battery charge indicator indicate the
state of charge of the battery. For safety reasons, it is only
possible to check the state of charge when the power tool is
not in operation.
Press the button for the battery charge indicator or to show
the state of charge. This is also possible when the battery is
removed.
If no LED lights up after pressing the button for the battery
charge indicator, then the battery is defective and must be
replaced.
