Risk of death due to electrical shock
The live components carry life-threatening voltages.

Always switch off the power supply to the electric distributor before
installation / maintenance work and lock it to prevent it being connected
to the power supply again by mistake.

Ensure that the wires which are to be connected to the meter are
voltage-free.
n
Installation and maintenance work on this device may only be carried
out by an authorised electrician. Only use the KOSTAL Smart Energy
Meter in dry environments and keep away from liquids.

Only install the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter in permitted housings or
electric distributors downstream of the energy supply company's meter
such that the connections for the external and neutral wires are behind a
cover or protection against accidental contact.

The housing or electric distributor may only be accessed using a key or
tool to restrict access to authorised personnel.
n
Always switch off the power supply to the electric distributor before
installation / maintenance work and lock it to prevent it being connected
to the power supply again by mistake.

Switch off the power supply to the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter before
cleaning and only clean with a dry cloth.
n
Observe prescribed minimum distances between network cable and live
components or use suitable insulators
