Open Source licences
One of the features of this product is Open Source software, developed by
third parties. This applies especially to the GPL and LGPL licences.
You can find the licence texts and associated notices on the KOSTAL Smart
Energy Meter's user interface.
Warranty
KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH provides a 24-month warranty for the KOSTAL
Smart Energy Meter.
The warranty period starts on the date on which the first end user purchases
the device. The original invoice or similar documents provide evidence of the
warranty period. Warranty claims and statutory rights are not restricted by this
warranty.
Within the warranty period, we will rectify any defects which can be demon-
strated to result from material or production errors. Unfortunately, we cannot
rectify defects resulting from installation which did not follow our specifications,
improper handling, failure to observe the operating instructions. KOSTAL Solar
Electric GmbH can choose whether to repair the product or provide a new one.
Any claims other than the right to have product defects remedied as stated in
these warranty conditions are not covered by this warranty. We will not reim-
burse you for shipping costs. We regain ownership of any replaced products.
The warranty period is not extended or restarted if claims are made.
