5.1 Safety instructions

The product may only be used and operated in
perfect technical condition and in compliance with
the user guide.
Before adjusting the height of the desk, ensure that:
The desktop is level. In case of uneven floors,
you can adjust the height using the adjusting
screws on the feet.
That no person or object (e.g. open doors or
windows) is in the lifting range, or protrudes into
the lifting range.
No one is on the desk.
The maximum permissible desk load-carrying
capacity is not exceeded.
Optimum desk height
The adjustment to the optimum desk height (sitting
height) is crucial for the correct sitting posture at the
workstation. The correct desk height setting for the
workstation can be found in the workstation analysis
(pursuant to the German Occupational Safety and
Health Act, the German VDU Workplace Ordinance,
or accident prevention regulations, for example). See
also BGI 650: Computer and office workstations.

Danger due to voltage!
Contact with voltage can cause severe
injury or death due to electric shock.
Attach or detach connectors only when
the equipment is de-energised.
Do not open the housing of the
following components:
Power lift
Columns and control panel

The metal parts of the desk can become
energised if live cables and connections
are damaged.
Do not earth electrical devices on the
desk frame.
Risk of injuries and damage!
The fastening screws could tear if the desk
is lifted by the desktop or the attached
components.
Always grab the desk at the underframe
to transport or move it.
Ensure that the connecting cables of all
devices on the desk are long enough.
5.2 Height adjustment of the
product
On the Lift 2 variant, the height of the Solo Sit-to-
Stand Desk is adjusted via an electrically powered,
variable lifting mechanism.

The Solo Sit-to-Stand Desk can be variably
adjusted by means of an electric motor to a height
between 650 mm and 1250 mm (Lift 2 variant).
Before first use, ensure that:
The product has been assembled correctly
The control panel is connected to the power lift
All safety instructions have been followed
For the power connection
Insert the mains plug into a power point
supplying 220/230 V.
