Manual setting of clock
• In case the clock cannot detect the DCF-signal (for example due to disturbances, trans-
mitting distance, etc.), the time can be set manually.
• Choose ""Radio-Controlled Reception".
• Choose "OFF" with
or
button.
• Confirm with ENTER button.
• Choose "Time/Date" with
or
• Set the time and date with
or
• Confirm with ENTER button.
4. Outdoor transmitter
• After batteries are inserted the sensor will automatically transmit outdoor values to
the display unit on channel 1.
• Press "°C/°F" button on the transmitter to change the temperature unit on the sensor
display from °C to °F.
• You can also start the transmitter search manually in the Setup menu "Wireless Sensor
Reception".
• Choose "Search Now" and confirm with ENTER button.
• The weather station is now trying to receive the data of the transmitter.
• Press "TX" button in the battery compartment of the outdoor transmitter if you want
to send manually the values to the display unit (e.g. for testing or in case of loss of
transmitter signal).
• After successful installation screw up the battery compartment of transmitter carefully.

4.1 Additional transmitters

• Start the transmitter search in the Setup menu "Wireless Sensor Reception".
• Open the battery compartment of the transmitter.
• Set the switch to the position CH2 for the second channel.
• Insert two batteries 1.5 V AAA, polarity as illustrated.
• Once the station has received the transmitter, the temperature, the humidity, the
selected channel and the reception icon appear in the weather display.
• Repeat the single steps if you want to connect a third transmitter.
• Choose "Remote Channel display" "Automatically" in the Setup menu, the station
now shows the temperature and humidity values of each channel in rotation.
• After successful installation screw up the battery compartment of the transmitter
carefully.
5. Positioning of display unit and the transmitter
• Choose a shady and dry position for the transmitter. (Direct sunshine falsifies the
measurement and continuous humidity strains the electronic components needlessly).
• Place the display unit at the final position. Avoid the vicinity of any interfering field
like computer monitors or TV sets and solid metal objects.

• Check the transmission of 868 MHz signal from the transmitter to the display unit
(transmission range 30 m free field). Within ferro-concrete rooms (basements, super-
structures), the received signal is naturally weakened.
• If necessary choose another position for transmitter and/or display unit.
• Is the transmission successfully, you can wall mount the transmitter by the hanging
hole.
6. Energy supply
6.1 Receiver (Display unit)
• The base station is powered by a 5.0 V power adapter.
• In a power failure, the internal memory can store the settings for 1 minute. After 1
minute, the instrument has to be set again.
6.2 Transmitter
• The transmitter is powered by 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries.
• When the batteries in the outdoor sensor unit are used up, low battery icon appears
on the display of the transmitter. Change the batteries immediately.
• Start the transmitter search in the Setup menu "Wireless Sensor Reception".
• Open the battery compartment of the transmitter (screwed) and insert two new bat-
teries 1.5 V AAA.
• Use alkaline batteries only. Observe correct polarity.
• Screw up the battery compartment carefully.

6.3 IR remote control

• The remote control is powered by a battery CR20205.
• If the remote control has no function also at close range, change the battery.
• Open the battery compartment by pressing the release lever slightly inwards and then
pull out the battery compartment.
• Insert a new battery. Observe correct polarity (+pol above).
• Slide the battery compartment back until the release lever is engaged.
Caution
• Low batteries should be changed soon to avoid the damage resulting
from a leaking battery. Batteries contain harmful acids. Wear protective
glasses and gloves when handling with leaked batteries.
• Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and empty batteries in
household waste. To protect the environment, take them to your retail
store or to appropriate collection sites according to national or local
regulations.
7. Maintenance
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
• Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
