MONO/LOCAL Selection
• At the MONO setting, the amount of interference heard when
weak signals are received from an FM broadcast station is sig¬
nificantly decreased.
• At the LOCAL setting, the station search stops automatically as
soon as strong signals are received.

Press and hold [*](MONO/LOC) in the tuner mode for more than 2
seconds to switch between the MONO and LOCAL modes. Each
time [♦](MONO/LOC) is pressed, the display changes as follows.

Press and hold [*](MONO/LOC) for more than 2 seconds to
change the local mode as follows.

Station Preset
FM1, FM2, FM3 and AM can save a maximum 6 stations each in
their preset station memories.
Manual Station Preset

to select a desired band.
0 Use manual or seek tuning to find a station which is to be pre¬
set in the memory.
(3) Press and hold one of the preset buttons [1] to [6] for more
than 2 seconds until the display blinks.

Auto Station Preset
Select the band, press and hold [BAND](APM) for more than 2
seconds (Auto Preset Memory).
• The 6 strongest available stations will be automatically saved in
the memory on preset buttons

• Once set, the preset stations are sequentially scanned for 5
seconds each.
• Press the corresponding preset button for the broadcast you
want to listen to.
