Installation
Batteries
Four good quality AA alkaline batteries can be installed to protect the memory
during prolonged power failure. When the batteries are running low will be
displayed.
1. Disconnect the telephone line cord.
2. On the underside of the telephone carefully remove the battery cover.
3. Insert the backup batteries ensuring correct battery polarity is observed.
4. Replace the battery cover.
5. Reconnect the telephone line cord.
Wall mounting
The telephone can be wall mounted by using the included wall mount bracket. It
can also be fitted to a standard wall plate without using screws in Australia.
1. Secure two screws, vertically positioned 83 mm apart.
2. The screws should locate into the two keyholes on the back of the telephone.
3. Remove the hanging peg (located by the hook switch) by pushing it upwards.
4. Rotate the hanging peg 180 degrees, and then replace it.
The display
When the telephone is not in use the date and time, number of new and total
number of calls stored in the Caller ID memory will be shown in the display.
The display will illuminate during ringing, when accessing memory functions
and dialling out.
