ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM
This appliance has an electonic system which checks the water hardness.
The anti-scale cartridge will remove the scale from the water. Depending on the water
hardness and the use of the appliance, the anti-cal cartridge needs to be replaced when
the "change anti-cal cartridg" indicator glows. When you don't have a new cartridge
available, you can also use distilled water for ironing.
Note: For every first use of the filter, please put the filter for 10 min. it in water for
better performance.
AUTO SHUT OFF
The unit will turn off automatically after 15 min of pause, the green and red light will
blink alternatly. You can turn on the unit again by press the steam button or selection
button.
DRAINING THE WATER
Unplug the unit.
Remove the water tank.
Remove the anti-scale cartridge from the water tank.
Remove the water from the water tank by turning it upside down.
Replace the anti-scale cartridge.
Replace the water tank.
SELF CLEANING
Your steam generator has a self clean function, to keep the steam vents scale free. We
suggest to do the below description once a month.
1. Unwind the electrical cord and the supply cord.
2. Plug in the unit.
3. Press the on/off button.
4. The red indication light will turn on.
5. Make sure that the temparute dial of the iron is on the "min" position.
6. Wait approximatly 1 and a half min. The red incation light wil stop blinking and the
green light will go on, followed by a signal. Your iron is now at the set temperature.
7. The iron is now ready for self clean.
8. Keep the iron about 15 cm above the sink in the ironing position. Press the steam
buttoon and hold it for about 3 min. Loose particles of scalce will be flushed out
through the steam vents togehter with the water.
9. Turn the temperature dial on your iron to the max. position.
10. Iron a damp cloth to remove any left scale on the sole plate.
11. Turn the temperature dial on your iron to the "min" position.
12. Press the selection button for 2 sec, the steam generator will turn off. The
indication light will go out.
13. Unplug the unit.
14. Store the unit when it has cooled down completely.
