The angle of the bend of the exhaust air pipe should not be less than 120°.
Align the pipe horizontally. Alternatively, the pipe should go up from the
starting point and be led to an outer wall.
•
After installation, make sure that the cooker hood is horizontal in order to
prevent grease from collecting on one side.
•
Make sure that the exhaust duct selected for installation complies with the
relevant standards and is fire resistant.
Installation of the island hood
Note: Before installation, check the ceiling for its load-bearing capacity: it must
be able to support a weight of at least 120 kg and be at least 30 mm thick.
•
Check the routing of electrical and other cables on and in the wall or ceiling so
that they are not drilled into.
•
Install the unit with at least two people!
Position the suspension plate on the ceiling. If you have an exhaust vent in the
ceiling, place the round cutout at the exhaust vent. Then mark the position of
the screw holes and drill the holes according to the mounting screws. These
depend on the type of ceiling (see next step).
Fasten the suspension plate to the ceiling with 7 M5 screws or to a concrete
ceiling with 4 dowel screws. Then connect the suspension plate to the angle
bars using 8 M5 screws.
