Installation Instructions - Dual Standard Installation
STEP 12 HANDLE INSTALLATION
Make sure the set screws in the handle caps are
loosened. Place the handle over the fasteners on
the door (we recommend putting the screw side of
the handle toward the less visible side). Take care to
support the handle so it doesn't fall and scratch the
appliance finish. Make sure both of the handle caps
are resting on the face of the door.
Fastener
Lock one end of the handle into position by tightening
the set screw in the handle cap with the 1/8" Allen
wrench. Be sure not to over tighten.
Keep supporting the handle as you lock the other
end of the handle into position by tightening the set
screw in the handle cap with the 1/8" Allen wrench.
Be sure not to over tighten.
Repeat these instructions on all other handles.
STEP 13 TOE KICK INSTALLATION
A stainless steel toe kick and a magnet are included
with each refrigerator. A full width toe kick (ZKK72R)
for dual standard installations can be purchased
separately.
Remove the toe kick magnets from the front access
covers. These will only be used if installing the
individual toe kicks.
For individual toe kicks, adhere magnets to the back
side of the toe kicks. The surface of the toe kick
where the magnet is to be placed must be clean and
free of foreign material. Center magnets vertically
and horizontally.
Position toe kick(s) on bottom portion of front access
covers.

PREPARATION
Remove all tape, cardboard, and foam from each unit.
Remove boxed door bins from shelves.
Unbox and install door bins.
STEP 15 START ICEMAKER
CAUTION
To minimize the risk of personal
injury, avoid contact with the moving parts of the
ejector mechanism, or with the heating element that
releases the cubes. Do not place fingers or hands on
the automatic ice making mechanism while the
appliance is plugged in.
ATTENTION
A newly-installed freezer may take 12–24 hours to
begin making ice.
The icemaker will produce seven cubes per cycle—
approximately 15 cycles in a 24-hour period, depending
on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature,
number of door openings and other use conditions.
If the freezer is operated before the water connection is
made to the icemaker, turn the ice maker off by pressing
and holding the Zone Select pad until Ice Off appears.
When water has been connected to the water supply,
turn the ice maker on by pressing and holding the
Zone Select pad until Ice On appears.
Throw away the first full bucket of ice to allow the water
line to clear.
Be sure nothing interferes with
the sweep of the feeler arm.
When the bin fills to the level of
the feeler arm, the icemaker will
stop producing ice.
It is normal for several cubes to
be joined together.
If ice is not used frequently, old
ice cubes will become cloudy, taste stale and shrink.
NOTE: Icemaker works best between 40 and 120 PSI
(275-827 kPa) home water pressure.
