7. UPS Operation
7.3 Maintenance Bypass Operation
Follow the below steps to transfer to maintenance bypass for power stage maintenance and UPS protection.
7.3.1 Transfer Critical Load from Line Mode to Maintenance Bypass
Confirm Bypass Mode is enabled via the LCD display menu prior to performing the Maintenance Bypass procedure.
Remove the mechanical locking plate securing the switch (S3M100KX model) or Q4 Maintenance Bypass breaker
Step 1
(S3M120KX, S3M160KX and S3M300KX models).
S3M100KX (100 kVA)
Confirm the UPS is operating in Bypass Mode.
Step 2
Step 3 Rotate switch to BYPASS (S3M100KX model), or Turn ON the Q4 Maintenance Bypass breaker (S3M120KX, S3M160KX
and S3M300KX models).
S3M100KX (100 kVA)
Step 4 Turn OFF the Q3 Output breaker.
