7. TAKING OUT OF SERVICE
Switching off and storage

WARNING
Do not place heavy objects on the appliance. This may cause deformations and damage
to the appliance.

If the appliance will not be used for several months, first switch it off and then pull the plug out of the socket.
•
Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the housing.
•
Do not use a hard brush, steel brush, detergent, soap powder, alkaline detergent, benzene, gasoline, acids, hot
water or other corrosive or soluble substances to clean the appliance.

Store the cleaned appliance in a dry, ventilated place, preferably packaged in the original packaging. Make
sure the appliance is on a level surface and do not place heavy objects on top.
•
The appliance in storage must not be accessible to children playing.
8. DISPOSAL
8.1. Disposal of the device as waste
This symbol indicates that the device must not be disposed of with other household waste within the EU.
By disposing of the device properly, you help to prevent possible dangers to the environment and human
health. The recycling of materials contributes to the conservation of natural resources. Therefore, do not
dispose of discarded electronic devices with household waste. When disposing of the device, follow the
national and local regulations regarding the environmentally friendly disposal of electronic equipment. You
can also contact Coolblue when you no longer want to use the device or you can return the device to a
Coolblue store of your choice.
8.2. Dispose of the packaging material as waste
Dispose of the packaging material through your local recycling facility. By properly disposing of packaging material
and packaging waste, you help prevent potential risks to the environment and public health.
8.3. Dispose of the batteries as waste
The appliance may contain batteries. Batteries may not be disposed of in ordinary household waste. The
batteries may contain toxic substances and are subject to specific regulations.
Always return batteries to a designated collection point.
