Remove the Gas Spring from the Mount
The Gas Spring should be completely uninstalled to provide access for installing the new Lift Assist Cylinder. Minn Kota recommends
having a second person help hold the Mount while the Gas Spring is removed. When the Gas Spring is disconnected, the weight of the
Mount is no longer supported. Use the help of a second person to hold and support the Mount while removing the Gas Spring.

moving and supporting the Mount. Use the help of a
second person to support the Mount while working on
the installation.
