V. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
Before you start cleaning the device, ensure that it is unplugged and has cooled down. Use
soft cloth and mild soap to clean. We recommend cleaning the device after each use. Prior
to first use or in order to remove the odour after cooking, wipe the bowl and the inner lid of
the device with vinegar-water solution and boil half a lemon for 15 minutes using "СУП/
ВАРКА" programme (pressure cooker mode).
Use soft cloth and mild soap to clean. Clean the appliance after each use.
DO NOT use a sponge with hard or abrasive surface, or abrasive pastes to clean. Do not use
any chemically aggressive substances for cleaning items that come into contact with food. DO
NOT immerse the device in water or wash it under running water!
Clean the housing as needed. Clean the bowl after each use. The bowl is dishwasher safe. By
the end of cleaning wipe the outer surface of the bowl dry.
Clean the steam release valve, consisting of the inner and outer parts, sealing ring, and
condensation collector after each use:
1. Remove the steam release valve located on the outer side of the lid, by pulling it up.
Clean the regulator.
2. Unscrew protective cover located on the inner side of the lid. Rinse steam release outlet
and protective cover with warm running water.
3. Screw the cover back into place, put the steam valve regulator into its original position,
and secure by applying slight pressure.
4. Remove sealing ring located on the inner side of the lid. Rinse under warm running
water and put back, ensuring that it is properly seated.
5. To clean the shutoff valve on the inner side of the lid wipe it and the rubber sealing ring with a
moist sponge or towel.
Pull condensation collector down to remove. Rinse and return to original position.
Before repeated operation or storage completely dry all parts of the appliance. Store the
assembled appliance in a dry, ventilated place away from heating appliances and direct sunlight.
During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to mechanical stress, that may
lead to damage of the device and/or violation of the package integrity.
Keep the device package away from water and other liquids.
