Do not use or charge the battery when its electrolyte level is at or below "LOWER" (lowest level line).
If you keep using the battery with the level at or below "LOWER", the inside of the battery is rapidly
deteriorated not only to shorten its life but also to cause an explosion.
Handling the battery
The battery electrolyte is dilute sulfuric acid and is very harmful.
Be careful not to splash your body or clothes with the battery electrolyte.
If the battery electrolyte adheres to your body or clothes, wash it away immediately. If the electrolyte
goes into your eye or mouth, wash it away with much water and consult a medical specialist.
When checking the battery and its electrolyte, wear the rubber gloves and the tool which will protect
your eyes.
The battery gas can cause an explosion.
Do not make sparks, strike a match and put an open fire near the battery.
Do not inspect the battery by short-circuiting both poles with a metal piece. It is dangerous. Use a
voltmeter or hydrometer.
Do not put metal substances such as a tool on the battery. Short circuit may occur.
Do not charge the frozen battery. It may explode. If the battery is frozen, warm it to 16°C or more.
