Park the machine on a flat and safe place.
When you are compelled to park the machine on a slope, stop the machine along the slope and
apply drags to the wheels.
After the operation, stop the engine, remove the key and store it.
After the operation, inspect each unit of the machine body.
When inspecting and repairing the machine, put the
machine on a flat and wide place and apply drags to the
wheels
Before inspecting, cleaning and repairing the machine, stop
the engine.
Clean the surroundings of the machine.
Before repairing the machine, remove the battery.
To prevent other from running the machine without noticing
the maintenance work, hang a tag showing "Under repair"
on a prominent place (e.g. key switch).
Wait until the lubricating oil, cooling water, muffler, muffler
cover and engine body are cooled to safe temperatures.
Then, carry out inspection and repair.
When you need to use tools or jigs for maintenance, use
proper and effective tools and jigs. Before maintenance,
understand well how to use the tools and jigs.
The rubber parts of the fuel, lubricating oil and cooling water
hoses/pipes are aged even if they are not used. Replace
these parts and the tightening bands/clamps with new ones
every 2 years according to the periodic inspection table even
if they are not damaged. If these parts are damaged, replace
them at once.
