IMPORTANT REMARKS
For any installation problem please contact our Customer Service.
KEY Automation has the right to modify the product without previous
notice; it also declines any responsibility to damage or injury to
people or things caused by improper use or wrong installation.
• This instruction manual is only for qualified technicians, who
specialize in installations and automations.
• The contents of this instruction manual do not concern the end user.
• Every programming and/or every maintenance service should be
done only by qualified technicians.
• The installer must provide for a device (es. magnetotermical switch)
ensuring the omnipolar sectioning of the equipment from the power
supply. The standards require a separation of the contacts of at
least 3 mm in each pole (EN 60335-1).
• After making connections on the terminal board, use one hose
clamp to fix dangerous voltage wires near the terminal board and
another hose clamp to fix safety low voltage wires used for
accessories connection; this way, in case of accidental detachment
of a conducting wire, dangerous voltage parts will not come into
contact with safety low voltage ones.
• The plastic case has an IP55 insulation; to connect flexible or rigid
pipes, use pipefittings having the same insulation level.
• Also the automation upstream electric system shall comply with the
laws and rules in force and be carried out workmanlike.
900modaux
is an optional module that allows increasing the
functions of the 900CT-201 control unit by piloting two independent
relay outputs. The outputs are programmable with eight different
functions selectable via various configurations of six dip-switches.
The 900modaux circuit board must be housed inside the 900CT-201
box and connected via the appropriate flat cable included with the
circuit board.
The functioning logic of the two channels is programmable via six dip-
switches. The dip-switches 1, 2 and 3 allow the configuring of the logic
of channel 1, whilst dip-switches 4, 5 and 6 allow the configuring of the
logic of channel 2.

FUNCTION
Function 1: MONOSTABLE
auxiliary channel
Function 2: Warning light
Function 3: Intermittent
flashing unit
Function 4: "Go ahead" light, gate
is in the pause position
Function 5: Courtesy light with
gate in movement
Function 6: Stair light impulse
Function 7: Courtesy light, timer
at start of cycle
Function 8: BISTABLE auxiliary
channel
Function 1: Monostable auxiliary channel
The output functions according to the logic set on channel 4 of the
900RXI-44 receiver. Transmitting with a transmitter memorised on
channel 4 of the 900RXI-44 receiver the exit output is activated by the
preset logic.
Function 2: Warning light
The output pilots a warning light (24V - 3W maximum) flashing at
different frequencies according to the situation of the gate:
• Intermittent at 2 Hz on opening
• Fixed when the gate is in the pause position
• Intermittent at 4 Hz when closing
Connect the 900modaux circuit board as shown in Fig. 1.
Function 3: Intermittent flashing unit
The output supplies an intermittent frequency of 2Hz during the opening
and closing phases of the gate that is useful to pilot a flashing unit
Connect the 900modaux circuit board as shown in Fig. 2.
Function 4: "Go ahead" light, gate in the
pause position
The output closes only when the gate is in the pause position and
open. So it is possible to connect a green light (traffic light) to indicate
to vehicles that they can transit. Connect the 900modaux circuit board
as shown in Fig. 2.
Functions 5, 6, 7: Courtesy lights
The output closes when the opening cycle starts or when a signal is
transmitted by a remote control unit memorised on channel 4 of the
900RXI-44 receiver (independently of the monostable, bistable or timer
settings).
Function 5: The output opens when the gate stops. When it restarts for
the closure the output closes again. In the case of activation by remote
control on channel 4, the relay remains closed for the time set by the
trimmer (between 5 seconds and 10 minutes).
Connect the 900modaux circuit board as shown in Fig. 2.
Function 6: The output remains closed for 1 second (stair light
impulse) and then it opens.
Connect the 900modaux circuit board as shown in Fig. 3.
Function 7: the output remains closed for the time set by the trimmer
(between 10 seconds and 20 minutes). If a new gate cycle starts
before the time expires or if a remote command on channel 4 is
supplied, the timer restarts. Connect the 900modaux circuit board as
shown in Fig. 2.
Function 8: bistable auxiliary channel
The output works with a bistable logic, run by channel 4 of the receiver
900RXI-44. The transmission with a transmitter stored on channel 4
causes the switching of the relay.
WARNING:
• The connections for output 2 are the same represented for output 1
in Figures 2, 3 and 4.
• Be very careful to the engagement direction of the flat cable.
• Before carrying out the connections disconnect the 900CT-201
central
processing unit from the electrical mains circuit.
• The maximum load of the relay contacts is 5A-250VAC / 5A-30VDC.
