5 Exchanging the Filter Cartridge
The fi lter cartridge of the AquaVend Cool must be replaced no later than 6 months after
commissioning, irrespective of the level of exhaustion of the fi lter system. If the capacity
of the fi lter cartridge has been exhausted (Chapter 8), it must be replaced earlier.
When replacing the cartridge, carefully examine all fi lter system parts. Faulty

parts must be exchanged, dirty parts cleaned! Read the operating and safety information
(Chapter 3) prior to replacement. After the product has been stored at temperatures below
0 °C, it must be stored (with the original packaging open) at the ambient temperature of the
place of installation for at least 24 hours before entering use.
5.1 Removing the Filter Cartridge
• Close the water supply and remove pressure from the system (e.g. by removing
water from the terminal equipment).
• Switch off the power supply of the terminal equipment (remove plug).
• Unscrew the fi lter cartridge
and remove it.
5.2 Inserting the Filter Cartridge
• Transfer the installation date of the fi lter system (marked on the worn-out fi lter
cartridge) onto the new fi lter cartridge
• Remove the sealing plug

• Align the new fi lter cartridge

5.3 Commissioning
• Carry out the steps described under 4.3 to commission the new fi lter cartridge.
6 Repair
Regularly check the fi lter system for leaks. Regularly check the hoses for kinks. Bent hoses
must be replaced.
The complete fi lter system must be replaced in rotation after 5 years.

Regularly clean the outside of the fi lter system with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any
abrasive chemicals or astringent, abrasive cleaning agents.
