Preparation of roasts and other meat dishes
1. Oil the grease drip pan a little.
2. Place the drip tray in the device.
3. With a knife, make a cross-shaped cut through the entire roast through which you can
push the heating element attachment.
4. Slide the heating element attachment through the slot in the roast until the metal fit-
tings of the heating element attachment show through the other end of the roast.
5. Now place the roast in the device. Slide the heating element attachment onto the central
heating element.
6. Put on the glass lid.
7. Turn on the unit by pressing 'POWER'. The display flashes '00' and flash the lights for
'high', 'poultry', and 'heating elements'.
8. Turn on the unit by pressing 'POWER'. The display flashes '00' and the lights for 'high',
'poultry', and 'heating elements' will flash.
9. Press the select key to select the appropriate program.
10. Adjust the timer to the desired cooking time using the PLUS and MINUS keys (for more
information, see the cooking table.)
11. Using the temperature key, select between 'high' and 'low'. In general, the high level of
power is recommended.
12. Using the key for the central heating element, you can turn it on and off. The cooking
process is accelerated by the central heating element.
13. The indicators for the heating elements will indicate which heating elements are active.
14. Press the START / PAUSE key to start the cooking process. The green ON light turns on
and the display counts down the time entered.
15. After the set time, you will hear a triple beep signal.
16. Hook the grip hooks in the metal eyelet and remove the heating element attachment
together with roast, support and drip tray. Be sure to avoid burning or scalding.
17. Set the food on a clean surface and let it rest for about 10 minutes before removing it
from the accessory. Let accessory cool completely.
18. Press the POWER button and pull the plug from the socket.
19. Clean the device and accessories as described in the 'cleaning' section.
Using the skewers
The package includes 6 skewers, with which you can cook different dishes such as sausa-
ges or vegetables. Insert the skewers into the support. The preparation is similar to that of
meat or poultry.
