INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE LEFT WITH THE OWNER FOR FUTURE REFERENCE AFTER INSTALLATION
TOOLS NEEDED:
• Phillips Screwdriver
INSTALLATION
1. Working from the side of the fireplace which puts the
vent on your right, remove the glass frame and screen
frame as a unit (see fireplace installation instructions)
as well as the lower access panel.
2. Remove the four screws which secure the metal plate
and gasket from the firebox roof. See Figure 1.

LK7 - 1 LIGHT KIT
FOR USE ON MODELS: DVCP36(SP,PP)
CARTON CONTENTS:
• Light Assembly
• 4 - #10 X 1/2" Screws
• Bezel
• Glass (2)
• Gasket
• Halogen Light Bulb
• Light Shield (2)

3. Disconnect the wire harness at the connections shown
in Figure 2.

4. Insert the light socket wires through the rectangular
hole in the firebox roof which was uncovered in step 2.
Hold the light housing so that the socket is on the right
and feed the light socket wires to your right and down
the side of the firebox as shown in Figure 3 on Page 2.
5. Fit the light housing in place in the firebox roof and
reconnect the light socket wires to the rheostat and
receptacle terminals as shown in Figures 2 and 3.
6. Choose either the orange or clear glass for your
light. Screw the light housing into the firebox roof,
sandwiching the gasket, glass, bezel, and light shields
together in the order shown in Figure 4 on page 2.
