2.3 Charging the battery
Plug the charger into an electrical outlet, the other end into the connection port on
the control unit: the indicator light on the adapter is red: the device is charging. The
indicator light turns green when the battery is fully charged.
Warning :
Please unplug the power cable from the unit and turn it off when the battery is fully
charged.
The device will turn on while recharging if left plugged in.
Should the fully charged battery remain plugged into an electrical outlet, a
bidirectional power will occur which may damage both the battery and the circuit
board ( affecting the device's lifespan and increasing the risk of overheating caused
by overload). So it is important to unplug the power cable when the battery is fully
charged.
The charger will keep heating up if it is connected to a power outlet for a long time,
and therefore the various components and materials deteriorate more quickly.
For longer charger life, always keep the charger unplugged from the wall outlet or
turn off the power switch of the outlet.
