TROUBLE SHOOTING.
SYMPTOMS
Checklight 1 does
not light up when the
power supply unit is
connected.
No light coming
The checklight 3 does
through the
not light up when 1
lamp house.

Hard striking.
The lamp doesn't light
up.
No light coming through the lamp house.
No light in the zoom side.
Bad quality light beam.
No air aspirated or exhausted in the
lamp house.
WARNING : Do not use the lighting unit if the fan is not working.
(Note: The fan doesn't work until the lamp and checklight 3 are ON.)

POSSIBLE CAUSES
No power.
The switch is OFF.
Automatic breaker and
transformer are OFF.
Check the Spark-gap.
Fuse blown out.
Bad contact. Harting plug
power supply / Head.
Side trapdoors are not
closed.
Lamp is badly mounted.
Ignition failure.
(igniter, Spark-gap).
Colour changer unit
closed.
Iris cassette closed.
Mirrors and lenses not
in right condition or
not in place.
fan is not working.

SOLUTIONS
Check the mains and
cable connections +
electrical diagram, refer to
pages A-5, C-17/18 &
C-20/21.
Repeat the operation,
refer to page A7.
Turn ON the automatic
breakers, refer to page A-7.

Change the fuse 5 .
Refer to page A-5
Check the connections,
refer to page A-5.
Make sure the doors are
properly closed. Adjust the
position of the mini-circuit
breaker.

Open colour unit at the
front of the lighting unit.
Check iris blades are open
