Waste management
The stove packaging is cardboard, wood and a
small amount of plastic. The stove contains a
rechargeable battery and electrical components
which must be sorted and recycled.
Demolition and disposal
The demolition and disposal of the appliance are the sole liability and responsibility of the owner who must act in compliance with the laws in force in their
country regarding safety, respect and protection of the environment.
Leave the disposal of the packaging to the installer who installed the product or to special waste stations.
Do not dispose of used products with normal household waste. It must be disposed of at a special waste station or dealer who provides this type of service.
Always follow the regulations in force in the Country
where the appliance is in operation for the disposal of
materials and possibly for the disposal notification.
All disassembly operations for demolition must take

place with the appliance stopped and without the
power supply.
• Remove all the electrical equipment.
• Separate the battery on the electronic boards.
• Scrap the structure of the appliance using authorised companies.
Leaving the appliance in accessible areas is a serious

danger to people and animals.

• When the fireplace is in use, its surfaces become very hot
and can cause burns if touched.
• You should also be careful of the powerful heat that
transfers through the door glass.
• Combustible materials must be kept at the stated safe
distance to prevent the risk of fire.
• A smouldering fire emits gases that can suddenly ignite and
cause material damage and personal injury.
• The ash-pan must be emptied when it is full. If this is not
done, the air supply can become blocked, resulting in poor
performance. If the pan is not emptied, ash can find its way
out through the damper.
• The stove must not be modified by any unauthorised person.

The differentiated disposal of the product makes it possible to avoid
potentially negative consequences on the environment and health, and also
allows recycling of the materials making up the product in order to achieve
significant energy and resource savings.
Any liability for damage to people and animals always falls on the owner.
Upon demolition, the EC marking, this manual and other documents
relating to this appliance must be destroyed.
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol that appears on the label of the
appliance indicates that, at the end of its useful life, the product must be
disposed of separately from other waste.
Improper disposal of the product by the user results in administrative
penalties in accordance with current legislation.
SWEEPING
The flues and chimney connections should be swept by a
professional chimney sweep. The stove can be swept by scraping
and/or brushing. A soot vacuum cleaner is most appropriate
however. Should the chimney catch fire, the stove must be set to
low output setting to reduce the supply of air to the stove and
chimney. If necessary, contact the fire brigade to extinguish it.
The chimney must always be inspected by a chimney sweep after a
chimney fire.
