OPERATION
When this manual refers to a part number, it refers to the
included Identification Key section.
The transmitter sends and receives a signal along a circuit that
is closed. A loss of signal indicates an open circuit. A red LED
indicates a short. The receiver is then used to determine the
exact spot where the signal is lost or shorted.
The receiver unit has three levels of sensitivity. The receiver
starts at the lowest sensitivity. Each long press of the ON/OFF
button will increase the unit's sensitivity. The buzzer will buzz
twice and the LED will flash twice for medium sensitivity. Three
buzzes and flashes indicate the strongest sensitivity. Pressing
the button again will return the unit to the lowest sensitivity.
