Protective Functions

Problems at motor start-up:
If the motor does not start up within 2 seconds of activating the throttle, the protective switch of the speed controller
switches off the motor. For repeated motor start-up after removal of the problem, the control lever first has to be returned
to the bottom-most position (motor off).
A possible cause for incorrect motor start-up can be mechanical blocks of the motor or gear, as well as incorrect connection
between the motor and speed controller.

Overheating protection:

If the speed controller exceeds the max. permissible operating temperature during operation, the output power is automatically
reduced.
Transmitter signal is not recognised:
If the transmitter signal is not recognised for more than 0.25 seconds during operation, the motor stops. Once a valid
transmitter signal is recognised again, the speed controller switches on the motor again.
Teaching in the Throttle Control Path
1.
Switch on the transmitter and verify the settings for the throttle path at the remote control. It should be 100% in either
direction.
2.
Put the throttle control lever in the full throttle position and connect the rechargeable battery to the speed controller.
3.
The motor connected to the controller emits 3 brief sounds with increasing pitch and two brief sounds after 2 seconds.
The full throttle position is saved.
4.
Then move the control lever to the bottom-most position at once. The motor now emits the 2 – 6 brief signal sounds
depending on the number of cells, then one long signal.
5.
The speed controller now has stored the actual control path of the throttle channel and is ready for operation.
