Electrical shock hazard. Turn OFF electrical power
supply at service panel before making electrical
connections. Failure to do so could result in death
or serious injury.
8.1 General
Electrically bond boiler to ground in accordance with
requirements of authority having jurisdiction. Refer to:
• USA- National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
• Canada - Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, CSA C22.1:
Safety Standard for Electrical Installations.
8.2 Line Voltage Connections - Boiler
Provide individual 120V, 15 amp circuit (recommended)
with fused disconnect or service switch as required by
authority having jurisdiction.
A. Use thermostat or boiler system control with dry
contacts. Boiler control does not provide 24 VAC
power to central heating thermostat. Do not use to
power 24VAC thermostat.
B. Locate and install thermostat per manufacturer's
instructions. Maximum wire length is 330 ft (100m)
for 22 ga. wire.
C. Remove manufacturer supplied "jumper". Connect
"call for heat" wires to terminals 1 and 2 as shown
8.4 Optional Outdoor Temperature Sensor (138)
A. Connect outdoor temperature sensor between
terminals 5 and 6 to enable outdoor reset operation
required, do not install outdoor sensor.
B. Mount sensor on exterior wall. Shield sensor from
sources.
8.5 Optional DHW Limit Control (155)
A. Connect storage indirect water heater (DHW) limit
control between terminals 7 and 8.
B. Remove both resistors on terminals 7 & 8 when
using DHW limit control.
A.
Connections on 1 & 2 terminals are 120 Volts A/C.
B.
Connections on 3 & 4 are dry contact only.
C.
Remove Jumper on terminals 3 and 4 when using
Low Water Cutoff .

using optional Indirect tank sensor .

Connections on 3 & 4 are dry contact only.
Remove Jumper on terminals 3 and 4 when
using Low Water Cutoff.

Connections on L1 & N
terminals are 120 Volts A/C
NOTICE
Follow all instructions in regards to removal of
jumper wires.
