Caution: The power of this double fryer is 3600 watts. Therefore check the maximum allowed power of the group when
you want to switch on the fryer. If both heating elements are switched on at the same time, they use such an amount
of power (3600 watts) that the fryer must be connected to a separate 16 A group. No other appliances should be connected
to this group. If you do not want to use one heating element, turn the accompanying thermostat knob fully to the left
to the OFF position.
Before using the appliance for the first time, proceed as follows: carefully unpack the fryer and remove all packaging material.
Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for
external damage that may have occurred during transport. Place the fryer on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Remove the cover and the frying basket. Now lift the element straight out of the guides and remove the reservoir.
Clean the cover, frying basket and reservoir with warm water and a mild washing-up liquid. Dry these components thoroughly.
Make sure there is no more liquid on the cover, frying basket or reservoir. Only clean the exterior with a damp cloth and dry
thoroughly. Re-assemble the fryer.
Fill both reservoirs with liquid frying fat, between the minimum and maximum level, 2 x 3 litres. The frying fat should
not be below or above the maximum level. In the reservoir there are two horizontal stripes that indicate the minimum
and maximum level.
Caution: it is only permitted to use the cold zone fryer with liquid frying fat. Do not use hard frying fat, butter, margarine
or olive oil.
