Ensure the gas and electrical power to the appliance is turned off.
•
Appliance may be hot. Do not service until the appliance has cooled.
note:
In the event of a power failure, your appliance can be operated using the supplied battery back-up.
Turn off the gas and disconnect the electrical power supply from the appliance.
A.
Open the cast front to easily access the control panel assembly. Open control panel.
B.
Locate the battery housing inside the valve housing.

Install 2 "D" alkaline batteries (not supplied) into the battery housing. Ensure the positive and negative

ends correspond with those identified on the holder.
Turn the gas and electrical power back on to begin operating the appliance.

Close control panel and cast front.
