5. EMERGENCY OPERATION MODE
• Use the emergency operation mode only when the remote controller is defective or lost.
•
In emergency operation the unit can operate automatically for a certain period of time.
• Press the emergency button. One Bip indicates that the emergency operation mode is active.
When the unit is powered on for the first time with the power switch and the emergency operation
mode is activated, the unit operates automatically with the following settings:
Room temperature
Above 23°C
Below 23°C
Temperature and fan speed setting cannot be changed. DRY mode and Timer function are
unavailable.
6. TEST MODE
Test mode button is the same as the emergency operation mode button.
•
Use this button in test mode. The unit starts operating in COOL mode even if room temperature is
below 16°C.
• Do not use this button during normal operation.
•
Press and hold the button more than 5 seconds. 2 bips indicate that test mode is active. Release
the button.
• In test mode, fan speed is on High.
