1. Intended use

The Mc Crypt DJ-1011 DJ-CD-/MP3 player plays Audio CDs and music fi les stored on a CD, SD card or USB drive. This device is designed for
home use as well as semi-professional use. The low-level audio output signal has to be fed to an external amplifi er (possibly using a mixer or a
pre-amplifi er). This product is approved for connection to 100 - 240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz alternating voltage only.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product for purposes other than those
described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fi re, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

3. Explanation of symbols

The lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of an electrical shock. The device contains no parts that require
servicing by the user. Therefore, never open the device.
The exclamation mark indicates important notes in these operating instructions that should strictly be observed.
The arrow symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the device.
The device must be operated in enclosed and dry rooms only.
This device is designed according to Protection Class II (double or extra insulation).

4. Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If you do not follow the safety
instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury
or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.

• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be qualifi ed appropriately and observe these
operating instructions.
• The device was constructed according to protection class II. Only a proper mains socket (100 - 240 V/AC, 50/60Hz) of the public supply net
must be used as voltage source.
• This product is equipped with a class 1 laser. Never open the device. Do not remove the warning sign from the device. Do not open the
device and do not attempt to access any of its interior components. Never look directly into the laser beam. Laser radiation can seriously
damage your eyes.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
