Emptying the dust cup
•
To empty the dust cup, turn off the vacuum cleaner.
•
Detach the extension tube and/or vacuum tool from the main unit's air inlet.
Hold the main unit vertically over a bin. Press the dust cup lid release lever.
The lid on the bottom of the dust cup will flip open. Close the lid after emptying the
cup's contents.
Detaching the dust cup and filters
Hold the bottom of the dust cup with one hand. With the other hand, press the dust
cup release button and remove the dust cup from the main body.
Remove the foam filter and filter assembly from the dust cup.
Rotate the lower part of the filter assembly towards the
assembly's 3 components over a bin to dislodge any dust.
Rinse the dust cup, filter assembly elements and the foam filter under a tap.
Shake them to remove any excess water and thoroughly dry all the parts.

To reassemble the filters and dust cup, carry out the steps in reverse order. Align the top
with the bottom of the filter assembly and twist the bottom towards the

Next, insert the filter assembly into the dust cup, aligning the raised notch on the basket
with the groove on the cup. Place the foam filter on top, white side up.

Insert the assembled dust cup onto the main unit at an angle, aligning the small groove
on the neck of the dust cup with the raised notch on the main unit. Push the dust cup
until it clicks into place.
CAUTION! To prevent damage to the unit, only use dry,
intact filters!
