Charging the vacuum cleaner
Fully charge the vacuum cleaner before the first use, after each use, or whenever the battery
level is low.
•
When the battery level is low, one of the LED indicators will flash during use to remind
the user that the unit needs to be charged. In the event of insufficient power, the unit will
stop automatically.
•
Before charging, always attach the dust cup and filters to the main unit (see Detaching
the dust cup and filters in the Cleaning and Maintenance section).
NOTE:
•
The AC adapter may become hot whilst charging. This is normal.
•
To ensure the longevity of the battery and the product's lifespan, recharge
the vacuum whenever the battery is dead, even if you do not plan to use it.
Check that the vacuum cleaner is switched off. Firmly plug the AC adapter cable into the
charging socket at the end of the main unit. Then securely plug the AC adapter into a
suitable mains socket.
•
The LED indicator(s) flash(es) whenever the unit is charging.
•
When the unit is fully charged, the two LED indicators will remain steadily lit for 10
minutes before turning off.
•
It takes around 4-6 hours to fully charge the battery.
•
Once the battery is fully charged, the vacuum cleaner has a runtime of approximately 15
minutes at high speed and 30 minutes at low speed.
•
When you have finished charging the unit, unplug the AC adapter from the mains socket
before unplugging it from the vacuum cleaner's connector.
CAUTION!
•
Only use the removable power source (AC adapter) supplied with the unit to
charge the battery: MC2805B-V.
•
The unit won't work whilst charging. Never try to use it while it is being charged.
•
Do not leave the unit charging overnight or unattended.
•
Do not charge the battery at temperatures below 0°C or above 50°C.
