A plastic spatula may be used if necessary or in the case of particularly stubborn dirt. The use
of metal tools is not recommended;
Clean all parts of the appliance with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a neutral and deli-
cate detergent. Carefully dry everything after cleaning;
Only use clean water to moisten the cloth or sponge for cleaning;
Do no use abrasive detergents, such as, for example, abrasive powders, agents containing al-
cohol, bleach, diluents, etc., which could damage plastic parts, painted parts or components
made of stainless steel;
After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth for drying the surfaces. Check that all the parts are perfectly
dry before restarting the appliance;
Clean the condenser coil, which is located behind the cabinet, in the lower side, at least once a
week. Before cleaning, make sure that the equipment is not connected to the electrical socket
then remove the protection grid, then remove the dust that has deposited on the front of the
condenser with a vacuum cleaner and a brush. If the condenser coil is not cleaned at least 12
times a year, the efficiency of the appliance will decrease significantly;
The work area surrounding the appliance must also be clean and free of dust. It is advisable to
clean the workstation, especially the appliance support surface, before using it, and at the end
of use/day.
6.3 Servicing
Periodic maintenance is essential to obtain and maintain the best performance and
safe operation of the appliance. The operator can perform the following maintenance
operations:
Check the appliance's general conditions;
Check that the appliance does not emit any unusual noises or smells;
Cleaning the appliance: follow the instructions in paragraph 6.2 - Cleaning;
Periodically check the condition of the power supply cable. Do not use the appliance if the cable
is damaged. If the cable is damaged, have it replaced by the dealer or by a qualified technician;
Clean the condenser and its filter (see sect. 6.2 "Cleaning the appliance");
Checking the safety devices. At least once a day, before using the appliance, carry out a visual
inspection to verify the integrity of the safety devices and protections, if any. Also perform a
functional test of the safety devices and the start and stop elements of the appliance (by way
of example, check the correct operation of the safety micro switches, if any);
Verification of the labels and safety symbols integrity. At least once a week, carry out a visual
inspection to verify the integrity of the labels and safety symbols. In the event of illegibility or
detachment, request a copy of the labels and symbols from the dealer or qualified technical
assistance.
ATTENTION! In the event of malfunction, damage, breakage or failure of the safety
devices, immediately disconnect the appliance from the power supply and do not
use it. It is mandatory to contact the dealer to obtain qualified technical assistance.
WARNING! Servicing must only be performed by personnel who are authorized by
the dealer or the manufacturer, using original accessories and replacement parts.
It is severely forbidden to try to repair the appliance yourself. Such action will void
the warranty and put you at risk of injury.
