3. Safety and hygiene instructions
This section summarizes the information concerning all the essential safety-related aspects. The in-
dividual sections also contain important safety related information (with relative symbols), in order
to prevent the occurrence of hazards. Users must comply with the information given on the picto-
grams, nameplates and wording on the appliance, taking care to ensure that they remain legible.
Compliance with all the safety related instructions guarantees optimum protection and perfor-
mance of the appliance in complete safety and without problems.
The instructions concerning workplace safety refer to the EU Directives in force at the time of man-
ufacture of the appliance. In consideration of the exclusively professional use of the appliance cov-
ered by this handbook, please note that the user is required, within the limits of technical feasibility,
to maintain the conditions of use provided by the regulations in force in the country of use of the
appliance, at the time which this is used. If the appliance is used outside the European Union, the
local workplace health and safety regulations in force in the location where the appliance is used
must be respected.
In addition to the workplace health and safety requirements contained in this handbook, the specific
environmental protection regulation in force in the location where the appliance is used must also
be respected.
ATTENTION!
Carefully read this installation, operation and servicing handbook before installing and using
the appliance;
Periodically make sure that all labels on the appliance are legible;
Do not leave the appliance in operation unsupervised. Keep the appliance away from children
and all unauthorized individuals; the appliance is not suitable for use by individuals (including
children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory capacity, with lack of experience and
knowledge, without supervision or instructions from a person responsible for their safety;
The appliance must only be used by duly trained personnel who are fully aware of the safety
requirements and the operating instructions contained in this handbook;
The operator must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) suitable for the working condi-
tions to ensure the operator's safety and to comply with local health and safety regulations;
This handbook must be carefully looked after. If the appliance is transferred to a third party
this handbook must also be handed over, as it is an integral part of the appliance;
All users must follow the instructions contained in this handbook and comply with the work-
place health and safety requirements;
The appliance can only be used indoors and in areas protected from bad weather. It is not suitable
for outdoor use in adverse weather conditions and/or in potentially explosive environments;
This appliance is not suitable for use in ATEX environments;
Do not pull the power supply cable to disconnect the power supply plug;
To maintain hygiene and protect food from any kind of contamination, it is necessary to care-
fully clean the elements that come into direct or indirect contact with food, as well as all the
surrounding areas. Carry out these operations exclusively with detergent products for food use,
and absolutely avoid inflammable detergents, as well as those that contain people's health
harmful substances.
