4.3 Disposal
At the end of the appliance's working life it must be disposed of in accordance with the current local
and national regulations.
The appliance contains electrical and electronic components, referred to as "Waste of electrical and
electronic equipment" (WEEE).
In accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 49/2014, which implements Directive
2012/19/EU, the Manufacturer requires that the appliance be disposed of at authorized col-
lection centres, to avoid potential affects on the environment and to protect human health.
The symbol shown alongside indicates the need to dispose of the appliance according to
the WEEE requirements when it is scrapped.
WARNING!
To avoid any unauthorized use and the related risks, ensure that the appliance cannot be reac-
tivated before disposing of it. To do this, the appliance must be disconnected from the power
supply and the power supply cable must be cut.
5. Installation and operation of appliance
5.1 Electrical connection (plug-socket)
HAZARD! Live components!
All models have a power supply cable with a Schuko plug.
The appliance must only be connected to an electrical socket that is individually protected against
indirect contacts in compliance with the regulations in force in the country of use.
ATTENTION! Do not remove the appliance's plug by pulling the power supply cable.
ATTENTION! The power supply cable must never be placed in contact with hot objects.
ATTENTION! Do not spray water on the appliance and do not expose it to rain, water
or any other source of humidity. The appliance can cause injuries if it is not installed
correctly.
ATTENTION! Before installing the appliance compare the parameters of the local elec-
tricity mains supply with the technical data of the appliance (see the identification
plate on the rear of the appliance, Pic.2 - Section 8). Only connect the appliance to the
mains if the above-mentioned data correspond! All the safety instructions must be
complied with!
ATTENTION!
Ensure that the power supply cable does not come into contact with heat sources or sharp
edges and that it does not become blocked under the appliance. Ensure that the cable is laid
out properly, and not rolled up or bent;
