13 Using accessories
The brush type should be chosen to suit the surface to
be cleaned, and fitted or removed as described earlier.
A side brush is an effective means of cleaning close to
walls and right into corners.
The simply fitted trolley provides for ease of movement
when transporting the machine.
13.1 Fitting the side brush
The side brush is fitted to the left hand side of the
machine in the forward position. Switch off and unplug
the machine before fitting the brush.
1. Remove the shaft from the front brush by pushing
out with the fingers.
2. Take the plastic brush guard and screw it into the
side plate and tighten.
3. Slide side brush shaft through guard and front brush
(Fig.8).
13.2 Using the trolley
Warning - Empty all liquid from the machine before
using the trolley.
The trolley is attached to the left side of the machine.
The side brush if fitted must be removed.
1. With the machine handle in the upright position place
trolley centrally alongside the machine.
2. Tilt the machine to raise the left side and engage the
two hooks on the trolley axle under the botttom edge
of the side plate (Fig.9).
3. The vertical leg of the trolley must engage with the
bottom handle of the machine, and the velcro strap
wrapped around the bottom handle to keep it in
place.
The machine can then be manouvered easily whilst
holding the top handle (Fig.10).
