Cleaning and maintenance
It is important to clean your dishwasher to ensure the lifespan of the machine
Ensure that the water softening settings (if available) are correct and that the optimal amount
of detergent is used to prevent limescale build-up. Refill the salt compartment when the salt
sensor light is on.
Oil and limescale may build up in the dishwasher over time. If this is the case:
• Fill the detergent compartment, but do not load any dishes. Select a programme that
operates at a high temperature and then run the dishwasher empty. If your dishwasher is
still not clean enough, use a dishwasher cleaner.
• To prolong the life of your dishwasher, clean your machine regularly every month.
• Clean the door seals regularly with a damp cloth to remove any accumulated residue or
foreign matter.
Filters
Clean the filters and spray arms at least once a week. If food waste stays on the thick and thin
filters, these filters should be removed and thoroughly cleaned under the water tap.
