WARNING: If lap and shoulder belt portions of seat belt and seat belt buckle are not all
correctly positioned, restraint is not properly installed as a booster seat.
NOTE: Test by pulling on the child restraint and shoulder belt to ensure it is locked.
SECURING THE CHILD
WARNING: If your child is not properly secured in the child restraint, they may be ejected in
a crash, resulting in serious injury or death.
1.
Place your child in the child restraint in a seated position.
2. The child should be seated against both the back and bottom of the seat with no gap
behind the child. Do not allow the child to slouch.
3. Pull the vehicle belt. Pull the vehicle belt. Pull the vehicle belt. Route the lap belt portion
under the armrests to the vehicle belt buckle. Insert the 3-point vehicle belt in the
buckle until you hear a click.
• A child restraint positions your child so that the seat belt fits across the strong bones of
the hips and pelvis and not the abdomen, to protect your child from injury.
• The shoulder portion of the seat belt should be positioned over the chest and collarbone,
staying between your child's neck and shoulder so that it does not touch the neck.
CARE, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE, STORAGE
• WARNING: It's dangerous to make any alterations or additions to the device without
the approval of the Type Approval Authority, also dangerous not to follow closely the
installation instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer.
• WARNING: Do not attempt to disassemble the child restraint further than these
instructions allow.
• WARNING: All car seats expire. Plastic and metal parts wear out over time. Contact the
manufacturer if you are unsure when your seat expires.
• When the chair is not provided with a textile cover, the chair should be kept away from
sunlight, otherwise it may be too hot for the child's skin. Although, the child restraint
must not be used without the cover. The seat cover should not be replaced with any
other than the one recommended by the manufacturer. The cover constitutes an
integral part of the restraint performance.
• Check regularly if everything functions properly.
• If any parts are torn, broken, or missing, stop using this product.
• DO NOT attempt to remove the foam under the seat pad.
• Keep the child restraint clean.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these can
damage the product.
• Removable fabric covers and trims may be cleaned using warm water with a household
soap or a mild detergent.
